Research idea

• Purpose:

  • For innovative, forward-thinking research ideas in the early or mid-stages of development (max. 1,000 words, including Abstract, Tables, Figures, References and Appendices).

• Process:

  • Submit a 2–3 page outline of the research idea.

  • Presenters of accepted submissions will receive feedback at the conference to refine their ideas, focusing on novel perspectives and impactful directions prior to data collection.

• Presentation Requirement:

  • Authors present their research idea at ERS and receive constructive feedback from conference participants.

  • A total of 30 minutes is allocated for each paper session. To facilitate an engaging and interactive discussion, authors are encouraged to limit their presentation to 15 minutes, allowing sufficient time for audience questions and exchange of ideas.

• Submission Process:

  • Submit the research idea via the ERS submission platform (link will open January 5th) following the JBL style guide available on the journal webpage https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/21581592/homepage/forauthors.html .
