16:00 - 17:45 Paper Development Workshop for IJPDLM
Special issue: Getting Out of the Box. Exploring the Competitive Forces Reshaping Global Supply Chains
Perhaps never before have global supply chain decision makers encountered as dynamic and tumultuous a decision-making environment as today. Change is everywhere - and the demands placed on supply chains are rising rapidly. If you are doing research on the following topics, we encourage you to join our paper development workshop.
How can decision-makers use supply chain design to better navigate geopolitical currents?
How does (and should) government policy influence supply chain strategy and supply chain design?
How will emerging technologies influence the supply chain of the future?
How should decision makers more effectively manage the tradeoffs among firm performance, resilience, and sustainability?
In the midst of so much change, how will the nature of supply chain management change?
To participate, join us at the pre-conference workshop to brainstorm your idea’s development. If your research is well along in the design or data collection, you may submit a concise abstract (maximum 200 words) so we can build your research into the workshop design. Send your submission via email to markus.gerschberger@fh-steyr.at. The deadline for registration and abstract submission is June 4th, 2025.
